The Beach House is made up of a number of cabins nestled amongst the tropical rainforest, offering you a truly back-to-nature experience.

There are six styles of accommodation to cater for all needs and budget. Most rooms have air-conditioning and ensuites.

St Crispin Cabins - Beachfront. Individual rainforest cabins only 20m from the beach. Air-conditioning, ensuite, ceiling fan, king bed, private rainforest verandah. Suitable for couples.

Ribbon Cabins - 40m from the beach. Air-conditioning, ensuite, ceiling fan, king or twin share, shared rainforest verandah. Suitable for couples.

Escape Family Cabins - Air-conditioning, ensuite, ceiling fan, double bed and two single beds, wheelchair access and shared rainforest verandah. Suitable for families.

Rudder and Undine Rooms- Holiday cottages featuring a double bed, air condition, share fully self-contained kitchen, bathroom and outside dining area

Rudder and Undine Apartments- Holiday cottages containing two double bedrooms and one family room, air-condtioning, ceiling fan and ensuite, private outside dining area. Sleeping max 8 people in total.

Endeavour Cabins - Dormitory. Ceiling fans, screens, communal breezeway and five single beds.
Superior Dorm - 3 Bed Dorm Share with ensuite and air-conditioning

The Beach House features a beachside bistro, bar and pool area. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available. Only 20m from the bar, bistro and pool deck is the pristine Cape Tribulation beach.

Other facilities include tour desk, internet cafe, self-cook kitchen and BBQ, guest laundry, luggage store and souvenirs for sale.

There is plenty to see and do at Cape Tribulation, with the Daintree National Park and Great Barrier Reef so close at hand there is an abundance of activities:

Getting There:

Depart from Cairns and take the scenic Captain Cook Highway north; pass through the town of Mossman, and cross the Daintree River on the cable ferry.
Enjoy the drive as you wind though the oldest tropical rainforest in the world.

The distance from Cairns to Cape Trib Beach House is 140km, around a three hour drive. Cape Trib Beach House is located 38km north of the ferry crossing. The road is unsurfaced for the last 200 metres.

Please bear in mind that a stay at the Cape Trib Beach House is all about the rainforest experience, expect to see bugs and plenty of spiders!
