Bounded by Cooper Creek and adjoining Cape Tribulation National Park, the Daintree Heritage is located at the base of the majestic Thornton Peak with the famous Alexandra Falls only a three-hour challenging hike from the Lodge.

Families can be accommodated at an additional cost with a maximum of 2 children in the cabin. Children under 4 years stay free in existing bedding.

Heritage Lodge boasts a fully licensed restaurant and bar. The a la carte licensed restaurant and bar overlooks the magnificent rock pools of Cooper Creek, and offers fine dining in a dense rainforest atmosphere. If you are lucky, extra guests may also visit you at night, such as bandicoots and wallabies. A light tropical breakfast is included in your tariff while both lunch and dinner are served a la carte.

If you prefer to prepare your own dinner, a beautiful BBQ area has just been installed which is undercover and has seating.

Activites from the lodge include exploring the many rock pools of Cooper Creek. You can spot wildlife on the spectacular private rainforest tracks or simply enjoy the surroundings poolside.

Alexandra Falls is a 2-hour rock-hopping hike to the 150m cascades that can be seen from Heritage Lodge. Not for the faint hearted but highly recommended. Packed lunches available.

PLEASE NOTE: Staying in the Daintree World Heritage National Park area is an excellent way to experience the Rainforest. There is no mains power in this part of Australia. All resorts create their own power and this is the reason many properties do not have air conditioning, televisions, tea/coffee making facilities and mini bars. This property has all facilities for a comfortable stay.
