The Sanctuary is a luxury executive four bedroom tropical house designed by award winning architect Chris Van Dyke.

This is the jewel in the rainforest crown of the Daintree Rainforest with magnificent views over Cape Tribulation. A truly unique tree house built on one of the highest landmarks in Cape Tribulation.

It has exceptional views from every room in the house and offers total privacy and seclusion. This property is for the discerning traveler who seeks comfort, simplicity and above all privacy.

Bedroom 1: The Reef Suite is the main bedroom and features a romantic four poster king size bed and silk canopy with a walk in robe and ensuite. The double doors from the bedroom lead out onto the verandah providing you with stunning uninterrupted views across the rainforest to the Cape and over the Coral Sea.  This room can be booked by a couple with private ensuite facilities and share kitchen and lounge facilities.  If you are a couple and prefer exclusive use of the house you would need to book the Two bedroom option. 

Bedroom 2: The Daintree Room has a queen size 4 poster bed with romantic white canopy and views over the rainforest to the ocean. This room has bathroom.  This room can be booked by a couple with share kitchen and lounge facilities.  If you are a couple and prefer to have exclusive use of the house you would need to book the Two bedroom option.  

Bedroom 3:  When booking the Cape Trib Sanctuary house this is the 3rd bedroom.  The Treetops Room is a beautiful twin share room with silk mosquito netting and views of the rainforest and ocean.

Bedroom 4:  When booking the Cape Trib Sanctuary house this is the 4th bedroom.  The Forest Room  is a queen size 4 poster bed with white silk canopy and separate bathroom.

All rooms are magnificently appointed with high quality white Laura Ashley linen, fine light weight cotton quilts and silk canopies, providing you with a dreamy sleeping experience. You can be sure you will never want to leave.

Breakfast:
Breakfast is “at your leisure” and includes provisions for all guests include fresh tropical fruits, juice, pastries, a fine selection of teas and coffees, toast, bacon and free range eggs.

Set on 26 hectares of world heritage rainforest you can explore the rainforest without leaving the property as The Sanctuary has private hiking trails, swimming holes and secluded mountain streams flowing through the property.
