All prices include Full Breakfast - local tropical fruits in season, homemade yoghurt, homemade breads and jams, cereals, toast and a variety of cooked breakfasts.

Accommodation at the Red Mill comprises of Queen and King Ensuite Rooms, which are spacious and comfortable, with wide verandahs overlooking the extensive tropical and rainforest gardens.

A Two Bedroom Family Unit downstairs in Red Mill House is an ideal option for families, it can sleep upto four people.

A large saltwater swimming pool is available for cooling off in the warmer months. Internet access and laundry is also available onsite.

An extensive wildlife, nature, travel and art library is available to guests in the communal lounge and field guides and binoculars can be borrowed for birdwatching walks or tours.

Breakfast on the verandah can be a birdwatching experience in itself. The many species seen over breakfast can include Yellow-bellied Sunbird, Mistletoebird, Macleay’s Honeyeater and of course, the resident Orange-footed Scrubfowl who can be seen tending their nesting mound, from the balcony. You may also be joined by one of the resident Treefrogs.

Red Mill House is conveniently located for many nature based activities. It is a short distance to many of the Daintree River cruise boats, both for bird watching and for general interest and crocodile spotting. Local guided rainforest walks are also available from the village.
