Cape Trib Beach House is located right where the rainforest meets the reef. It makes the perfect base to explore the wonders of reef and rainforest.

The Beach House is made up of a number of cabins nestled amongst the tropical rainforest, offering you a truly back-to-nature experience.

There are six styles of accommodation to cater for all needs and budget. Most rooms have air-conditioning and ensuites.

ST CRISPIN CABINS - Located only 20m from the beach, these free standing private cabins feature king bed, air-conditioning, ensuite, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities and private balcony. Suitable for couples.

RIBBON CABINS - Located only 3 minutes walk from beach, these cabins feature a king or twin beds, air-conditioning, ensuite, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, shared rainforest verandah. Suitable for couples.

ESCAPE FAMILY CABINS - Rainforest Cabins featuring double bed and two single beds, air-conditioning, ensuite, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, wheelchair access and shared balcony. Suitable for families.

RUDDER AND UNDINE ROOMS - Holiday cottages featuring double bed, air-conditioning, share fully self contained kitchenette, shared outside dining area and shared bathroom facilities.

RUDDER AND UNDINE COTTAGES - Holiday cottages featuring two double bedrooms and one family room, air-conditioning, private fully self contained kitchenette, own bathroom and private outside dining area. Sleeping max 8 people in total.

ENDEAVOUR DORMS - Rainforest cabins featuring 4 dorm rooms with 5 beds each, outside dining area, air-conditioning, sharing communal shower block and kitchen.

ENDEAVOUR SUPERIOR DORM - Rainforest cabin featuring a maximum of 3 people per room (single beds), air-conditioning with own ensuite and shared balcony.

The Beach House features a beachside bistro, bar and pool area. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Only 20m from the bar, bistro and pool deck is the pristine Cape Tribulation beach.

Other facilities include tour desk, internet cafe, self-cook kitchen with gas cooktop, guest laundry, luggage store and souvenirs for sale.

There is plenty to see and do at Cape Tribulation, with the Daintree National Park and Great Barrier Reef so close at hand there is an abundance of activities:

Getting There:

Depart from Cairns and take the scenic Captain Cook Highway north; pass through the town of Mossman, and cross the Daintree River on the cable ferry. Enjoy the drive as you wind though the oldest tropical rainforest in the world.

The distance from Cairns to Cape Trib Beach House is 140km, around a three hour drive. Cape Trib Beach House is located 38km north of the ferry crossing. The road is unsurfaced for the last 200 metres.
