The Ferntree Rainforest Lodge is AAA 3.5 star rating and is set back in the heart of a lush rainforest, and features low, pitched buildings that are set harmoniously within a dense, green landscape. The Lodge's magnificent gardens are designed to attract the splendid rainforest creatures. You can witness from your room the operatic display of butterflies and birds unique to this spectacular region. Guests are a short stroll from Myall Beach and spectacular mangrove boardwalks.

Ferntree Rainforest Lodge offers an affordable tropical getaway for eco-explorers, consisting of 20 Garden Loft rooms set amongst beautiful tropical gardens. Garden Lofts are the ideal choice for the budget conscious family. They also offer 8 Poolside rooms offering a private balcony overlooking the pool.

Accommodation: There are two styles of accommodation to choose from:

Poolside Rooms feature an upstairs private balcony overlooking the lagoon-style pool. Rooms have a spacious living and sleeping area and ensuite facilities with combined bath and shower. Rooms feature one king bed or two single beds.

Garden Loft Rooms contain a separate loft bedroom upstairs that sleeps two children comfortably. The downstairs room features a lounge and verandah deck overlooking the lush gardens.

Dining: Cassowaries restaurant and situated overlooking the main pool at Ferntree Rainforest Lodge. The Restaurant consists of 2 dining huts built into the rainforest along with a main building and outside deck.

Guests staying at either Ferntree Rainforest Lodge or Cape Tribulation Resort are welcome to dine at both The Cape Restaurant and Bar (seasonal) or Cassowaries for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Location:
Ferntree Rainforest Lodge is located approximately 140 km north of Cairns (2.5 hours drive). Camelot Close is on the left as you drive into the Cape Tribulation Village precinct.  Ferntree is on the right about 200 metres up the road.  It is not a beachfront property.  It is located about 300 metres from the main Cape Trib beach.   
A cash payment is required for self-drive guests to use the Daintree River Ferry (approx $21.00 return).
Just a short walk from Ferntree you'll find the local 'village' consisting of a shop, chemist and bar.
