loved the lodge and surroundings. Unfortunately rained constantly so were very wet a lot of the time. In the end decided to only stay 2 nights and went to Port Douglas early. Found the isolation, esppecially no phone reception difficult.

Ferntree was a lovely place to stay. The cafe/restaurant had good meals and reasonably priced. The treehouse cabins were great and we had a wonderful time in Cape Tribulation!
