The 2 hour Jungle Walk is ideal for day visitors from Cairns and Port Douglas.

Mason's Tours have guides who can take you to the best areas on real jungle trails, on private land. They do not use boardwalks or concrete paths, they are typical jungle trails perhaps resembling an Aboriginal Road that would have existed here before the arrival of Europeans.

The rainforest at Cape Tribulation is incredibly interesting and beautiful. There are strange, ancient and dangerous plants, as well as rare birds and wildlife.

The walking tracks are located on Mason's own 170ha property - bounded by the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area and Daintree National Park to the west and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park to the east.

This tour offers a very special opportunity to spend time in the Daintree rainforest with a well informed local resident.

The 2 hour walk is an easy paced tour through breathtaking rainforest. The guides literally know the forest like the back of their hands! They won't confuse you with scientific jargon, as they pride themselves on explaining things in simple, understandable English.

What to Bring: Participants must be fit enough to walk two kilometers along uneven jungle trails. Covered shoes suitable for bushwalking are required, such as sneakers, boots or real hiking sandals.

Departures:
The tour departs from Cape Tribulation only. It is possible to meet the tour at Cape Tribulation by driving from Cow Bay Mossman, Port Douglas and Cairns.
Free Pickups are available from all Cape Tribulation accommodation.
Tours depart Cape Tribulation accommodation and Masons Shop at 8:30, 10:30am and 2:00pm with a minimum of 2 people.
