Crocodylus Night Walk

Experience the rainforest from Crocodylus Village, Cow Bay.

Crocodylus has over twenty-one acres of the last remaining lowland rainforest in the Daintree Rainforest.  So join expert guides on a jungle walk like no other, meandering through the bush for over three hours marvelling at the natural wonders of the Daintrees flora and fauna and getting an eco education at the same time.


Sunrise Paddle Trek

Paddle trekking along the amazing Daintree Rainforest coastline off beautiful Cow Bay beach at sunrise is definitely one of the best things to do in Cairns and Cape Tribulation.

Getting there:

Crocodylus is a 2.5 hour drive (122km) north from Cairns and 1.5 hour drive norht from Port Douglas by private car.  Cross the Daintree River by ferry (cost), head north over the Alexandra Range for 14 kms, then turn right into Buchanan Creek Rd.  Crocodylus Village is 2 kms from the turnoff. Crocodylus is accessible all year round by conventional vehicles. The Sea Kayaking tours depart from Cow Bay Beach.  Cow Bay Beach is about 3 km drive or a 40 minute walk from Crocodylus Village.
