Snapper Island National Park is situated 2 kilometres from the mouth of the Daintree River, in Tropical North Queensland.
The island is uninhabited, filled with tropical rainforest and surrounded by magnificent coral reef and white sandy beaches.
You will paddle a very stable, 7 metre surveyed kayak from the mainland to Snapper Island. The fully equipped rescue boat and experienced guide will accompany you though your journey. If the group is a confident group the guide prefers to leave the motor boat behind and guide from a kayak with the group. It is a more personalised experience.
When you arrive at Snapper Island, you will have this whole unspoilt tropical island to yourselves.
Kayak, snorkel, walk, sleep, read, eat, drink, laugh, learn, laze, bask. Take as much or as little as you please.
Accommodation on the island is camping on the beach. Very easy to wake up to - a true room with a view.
A dining area is also set up on the beach and all your meals are prepared for you whilst you are exploring this fabulous island.
This is a very exclusive tour as your group will have a maximum of just 12 people and the trip only operates from Crocodylus Village, Daintree Cape Tribulation. If you are not staying here, you will have to make your own way there.
The tour commences at 7.30am and arrives back on the beach the following day at 5pm. An orientation is carried out the day prior to departure at Crocodylus Lodge.
