Day One: Depart Cairns with Cape Trib Connections, check into P.K's Jungle Lodge, Jungle Canopy Surfing
Departing Cairns at approx 7.00am and heading north, you will follow the scenic coastal road in a comfortable air-conditioned bus.
First stop is the Daintree Mangroves Animal Sanctuary, where you will have the opportunity to view Cassowary birds, parrots, snakes and others animals up close. It is then time to cross the Daintree River by ferry followed by a stop at Alexandra Range Lookout for a bird's eye photo opportunity of the stunning coastline.
Enjoy at guided walk through the rainforest at Mardja Boardwalk before being dropped off at P.K's Jungle Lodge at approx 1:30pm.
P.K's Jungle Village offers budget resort accommodation for backpackers and travellers, just minutes from the beach, in the heart of Cape Tribulation. The cabin style accommodation features airy timber rooms set amongst the rainforest, all with air-conditioning. (Please note that all linen is provided in the rooms except towels)
There is a restaurant onsite, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

At your scheduled time of 3:30pm join Jungle Surfing Canopy Adventures for a must-do, new and exciting way to view the World Heritage Listed Rainforest in Cape Tribulation.
This unique tour allows eco-tourists the chance to glide through the forest on steel cables high above the ground. Once this way of viewing the forest was only available to scientists, but now this experience is open for the public to enjoy.
Canopy Surfing takes place up in the treetops, with five platforms linked by steel flying fox runs. Each participant is attached by full body harness to the flying fox cables, and they glide upside down from platform to platform at walking pace.
You don't even have to hang on if you don't want to, and you can also take photographic equipment along. Photographers will especially enjoy the spectacular panoramas over the extensive rainforest canopy out to the azure Coral Sea, many of the regions fringing reefs and sand cays are visible.
Day Two: Ocean Safari Half Day Snorkel
Ocean Safari is a great way to experience the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef by snorkelling two pristine reef locations off the coast of Cape Tribulation, in just half a day. This half day eco certified tour departs Cape Tribulation daily and allows for a minimum of two hours to explore this precious underwater world!
Your tour starts when your eco host picks you up from your accommodation. Once you have boarded onto Ocean Safari, it is only a short 30 minute journey until you arrive at your first reef location for the day.
Ocean Safari own and operate two moorings at Mackay and Undine Reefs. There is plenty of time for snorkelling the tropical waters before you depart for your second site, which is equally as impressive and diverse with an abundance of fish, coral and marine life. Your experienced crew will talk about the natural environment and marine life that inhabitat the Great Barrier Reef, and will also ensure you day so far, is filled with heaps of fun!
In the afternoon you can lounge around by the large tropical pool at P.K's or take part in the lively nightlife at PK'S Jungle bar that blends perfectly with the rainforest setting. The Jungle Bar has been the setting for many an unforgettable night in Cape Tribulation!
Day Three: Paddletrek Adventure Sea Kayaking, Check out from P.K's Julnge Village, complete remainding Cape Trib Connections journey back to Cairns.
Your ocean adventure tour starts north of Cape Tribulation where you will take to the magical waters of Cape Tribulation Bay in a sturdy sea kayak (one or two person).
As you explore the unique environment where rainforest meets reef, your experienced local guide will introduce you to Cape Tribulation's amazing variety of land and marine wildlife. Watch out for turtles, dugongs, dolphins, sea eagles, sting rays and migrating whales.
Your guide will lead you around the magnificent Cape Tribulation headland and onto Myall Beach.
After morning tea paddle back around the Cape and fringing coral reefs, taking in the stunning views. This trip departs at 8:30am for a 3.5hr adventure.
After freshening up from sea kayaking and lunch, Cape Trib Connections will collect you from your accommodation at approx 1:30pm to complete the remainder of your tour back to Cairns.
Head south for a wildlife cruise on the Daintree River, looking for animals including the elusive Esturine Crocodile, before stopping off at Mossman Gorge for the opportunity to swim and explore the walking tracks around the Gorge.
A stop over in Port Douglas offers passengers about 30 minutes to explore the boutique seaside village. The journey then follows back to Cairns with a short stop at the Rex Lookout for the last scenic snapshots of the day.
The tour returns to Cairns at approx 6pm with a drop off at your choice of accommodation.
