Home to reputedly the most biodiverse mangrove system in Australia, Cooper Creek’s significance has been internationally recognized and rewarded by Queensland Park’s & Wildlife Service, which has afforded absolute protection to the creek’s flora and fauna.
Devoid of tourist infrastructure, freehold subdivision and agriculture, Cooper Creek is, as it was, unspoiled by development, a perfect picture of prehistoric times.
A wild environment, crocodile sightings are not guaranteed but participate in the hunt and enjoy EXCLUSIVE ACCESS to 9 square kilometres of WORLD HERITAGE LISTED WILDERNESS.
Come on board the only tour boat that ventures into the Cape Tribulation Section of Daintree National Park and enjoy a leisurely & informative cruise into the unique world of mangroves.
Guests are treated to an entertaining cruise where wild crocodiles are sighted in their natural habitat. Although crocodile sightings are not guaranteed on the cruise, it's just as enjoyable to participate in the search, and don't worry; you'll be in complete safety in the specially designed riverboat.
This is a self drive tour only, no transfers from accommodation are available.
Bookings are essential. Pre-booked cruises depart at 11:30am.
